Realistic With a Raw Edge. At first the images might appear sweet, but if you are willing to look further you’ll find Robin Duister's work is not as carefree as it might appear on first sight. It combines contemporary imagary with a large amount of glam and trash, a.o. inspired by pop and youth culture. www.robinduister.com
a hot thing for food-lovers, a problem for those on a budget.
Tallinn, in the Baltic, also has some lovely New Nordic food on offer and a lot more friendly in price then what you know off.
I enjoyed a lovely lunch at Kohvik Moon, which means as much as Poppy in Estonian. Simple, honest, sincere is what they strive for, and what they deliver. Booking is absolutely necessary as the charm of this place and high quality of food has not gone unnoticed.

I recently had a little sunday afternoon tradition going on, visiting the bearded baristas at the Village on the day of peace, calm, rest and thought. Wow for some reflection.
This it what it should be like always and everywhere. Quel vibe..
The atmosphere reminded me of those cold days in Groningen during Eurosonic, trying to grab some food and cafeïne whilst preparing for another night. Of late weekend afternoon gatherings during all those weekends in London. Of the laid-back hang-on-the sofa with your soy-latte in Reykjavik.
And now I found the Village a coffeebar that mixes pure coffee-making with The gettogether vibe and some music on the side. Sweets are on the menu and you are welcome to bring your own savouries (get them next door at the supermarket and save the money for that extra shot of cafeïne)
