Paapje

A while ago I read an article about Paapje, and therefore today I was delighted to find a store which carried their fabrics. I would consider this to be Dutch heritage. Wonderful handprinted fabrics in mostly amazing indigo. They make very useful patterns for anything fabric related in the interior. The fabrics I bought will soon enter a new life as pillow cases. In 2009 this old company was bought by Carolien Huizinga & Olaf Klaassen, who run the company today. I am most certainly hoping to be seeing a bit more of this in the future.
